Course Overview

Efficient RF planning and optimization are critical for nationwide coverage, quality of service, and spectrum efficiency. This course provides a policy- and operations-oriented understanding of RF planning, optimization, and coverage analysis, enabling non-R&D stakeholders to interpret RF performance data, assess rollout proposals, and monitor operator compliance. Participants will gain clarity on how coverage is planned, measured, optimized, and regulated across 2G–5G networks, with emphasis on public interest goals such as rural connectivity, QoS benchmarks, and interference mitigation.
