Course Overview

This intermediate-level course provides in-depth knowledge of LTE air interface principles, E2E signaling, and advanced troubleshooting for Huawei eNodeB equipment. Participants will gain practical skills in reconfiguration and fault analysis to manage and optimize LTE networks.

Course Outcomes

  • Understand detailed principles and layer functions of the LTE air interface
  • Perform advanced operations for Huawei LTE eNodeB, including alarm management and signaling tracing
  • Conduct advanced troubleshooting for eNodeB, antenna, and feeder systems
  • Execute initial configuration and reconfiguration of Huawei LTE eNodeB
  • Analyze LTE/EPC structure and interface procedures (S1/X2)
  • Master typical LTE signaling procedures, including handovers, TAU, and random access
  • Analyze and resolve throughput-related performance issues
  • Understand multi-antenna technologies including MIMO and beamforming
