Course Overview

This 10-day intermediate course provides a comprehensive deep dive into the planning, configuration, and troubleshooting of modern fiber access networks. It covers advanced VoIP protocols (SIP/H.248), PON multicast, QoS, and security, with a specialized focus on POL (Passive Optical LAN) and FTTx network design using Huawei eSight and NCE platforms.

Course Outcomes

• Implement and maintain VoIP services using SIP and H.248 protocols
• Configure complex multicast services on PON networks with high reliability
• Deploy Type B and Type C protection to ensure network availability
• Apply advanced QoS and Security features to optimize traffic and prevent attacks
• Manage large-scale access networks using eSight and NCE-FAN
• Design robust POL and FTTx networks including ODN link budgets
• Systematically troubleshoot ONU, Voice, Data, and Multicast service faults
